Interesting reading rooms

Do you have a reading room or pick up any corner or bed to crouch with a book.. Is there  any specific library, where you love to read???..I love libraries, the scent of books, the overwhelming  silence and I am wrapped in an aura of boundlessness...I have a soft corners to the reading rooms of library though after college I haven't paid enough time to the reading rooms of library , in other words I miss those wonderful  moments..In this post I bring , few reading space of library  that I found interesting...

First is the reading room of Suzallo library of the University of Washington in Seattle. This particular picture is the graduate reading room, it  is classic isn't , a look of grandeur with a touch of history..

Theological library of Strahov Monastory boasts of stucco decoration (something like plaster)  check the ceilings and there are paintings of 1700's..I would love to stare at the ceiling for a long long time..The library has many religious and philosophical read.

Royal Portugese reading at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is a traditional library.Founded in 1837, it is listed in the State Institute of cultural heritage. The library also has the largest collection of Portuguese work. The reading room is quite spacious with a beautiful chandelier ..

Old Library of the Dutch house of Representatives (Handelingenkamer) in Netherlands, has volumes of proceedings of the house of parliament... Being a government Law library , access to public is restricted to certain area..Built in the late 19th century, when there was no electricity the cellar is leaded to allow maximum light.

The State library of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia, has a vast collection of about 2 million books. It was opened in 1854. First reading room was the queen's reading room, but this one in its octagonal shape and dome with white interior looks splendid...

The Philological library, is situated in the campus of  free University Berlin, Germany..It was built in 2005 in the shape of human brain, sometimes it is referred to as "the brain of Berlin"... This one has a modern air to it...It holds around 700,000 volumes..It looks cool isn't...
